This is a critical role in connecting with women and making a difference.

We’re looking for a Manager to lead an exciting new program working with women who have been living in prison and are rebuilding their lives in the community.

This role is part of an innovative program and is critical to supporting women in the program and the staff team, with an emphasis on wellbeing, social connections, employment, and housing.

What You’ll Do

Develop, lead, and support a program that uses collaborative processes to engage and work with women to change their lives

Ensure appropriate individualised planning with women that acknowledges unique needs, interests, and rights and supports them to meet responsibilities

Create and sustain collaborative relationships with other organisations and groups to provide wrap around support and services for women

Actively participate in multidisciplinary and community discussions to promote a gender-responsive approach to supporting women after prison

Model and contribute to a learning culture including learning events, program evaluation, research, and reporting

You will need

High level strategic thinking and problem-solving skills

Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills

Good organisation and time management skills, especially in managing competing priorities in a high-volume work environment

Collaboration experience and skills

Calmness and emotional composure

Self-motivation and energy for working autonomously.
