Fleet Maintenance Qld is looking for two heavy vehicle mechanic legends.

We are based in Banyo so please do not apply if you live in Gympie or Mumbai. To become part of the FMQ family you must be able to have a laugh with your teammates, give crap, and take it. You may also have to put up with some terrible country music in between come Creedence and classic pub crackers. We drink beer and swear a lot but what sets us apart is that we can fix everything and pride ourselves on our quality or workmanship. We are an old school shop that has a crack at fixing before replacing. We are looking for someone with experience in Kenworth’s and ISX. We also work on pretty much every truck known to man. Fabrication and welding etc. This is not a dealership so we do not have every tool for every job but can make what is required as we go. By no means do we know everything but together we overcome most things. We have some great people in the shop that have some vast experience. We work from across 2 shifts from 6 am to 9pm but are looking for two more mechanics for day shift, which is 6am to 4pm Monday to Friday. We are a family first workshop.

Trade qualifications as a Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic (essential)

Experience with trucks and trailers (essential)

Experience in Kenworth’s and ISX engines

Welding and Fabrication experience (desirable)

Truck licence (essential)

Self-motivated and able to work well in a team environment.

Reliable and honest

Great work ethic
