About the role

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our team at DNV Industries Pty Ltd in Stapylton, Queensland. As a full-time Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of a range of heavy vehicles and machinery used in our operations. We are a niche company, that offers a turn key solution to our existing customers where we service and repair trucks as well as the vacuum units on the back. What you'll be doing

Diagnose and repair a variety of heavy vehicles and machinery, including trucks, vacuum units, trailers and various other equipment

Carry out routine maintenance and servicing to ensure optimal performance and safety

Carry out repairs required on asset

Liaise with the operations team to understand equipment needs and priorities

Maintain detailed records of all work carried out

Provide guidance and support to junior mechanics as required

Adhere to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures

What we're looking for

Formal trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or equivalent

Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

Proficient in the use of electronic diagnostic equipment and tools

Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and safety standards

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
