Crest Support is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Casual Disability Support Worker to join our team based in Geelong.
As a support worker, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals with disabilities to live independently, achieve personal goals, and enhance their overall quality of life.
About the Role
As a Casual Disability Support Worker with Crest Support, you will:
Provide personalized, high-quality care and support to clients with disabilities to help them maintain independence in their own homes and communities.
Assist clients with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, shopping, and light household duties.
Transport clients to medical appointments, community events, or social activities, fostering greater community participation and inclusion.
Support clients to build their skills and confidence in making choices and achieving their NDIS goals.
Maintain detailed documentation on client progress, incidents, and care plans.
Work collaboratively with families, caregivers, and other support professionals.

Flexibility: Work hours that align with your lifestyle, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend shifts if required.
Competitive Pay: Starting base hourly rate of $32.00 dependent on experience and the SCHAADS award.

About You
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about empowering people with disabilities and delivering person-cantered care. To excel in this role, you will need:
Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years in a Disability Support Worker or related role.
Skills: A genuine ability to connect with clients, provide empathetic care, and tailor support to individual needs.
Knowledge: Understanding of the NDIS framework and disability services.
Personal Attributes: Compassion, reliability, patience, and adaptability.
Technology: Confidence in using devices like smartphones or tablets for work-related tasks.
Essential Requirements
Relevant Qualifications i.e. Certificate III or IV in Disability, Community Services or higher.
Current First Aid and CPR certification.
National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
Working with Children Check Employee and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
Valid Driver’s License and access to a reliable, registered, and comprehensively insured vehicle.
