This role has become vacant following the sale of the family-run business, with the incumbent family member stepping away from operations.

As a key member of the team, you will oversee the daily operations of the stockfeed production lines (pellet mill, chaff line, roller and mixing lines) ensuring efficient and safe production processes, maintaining high quality standards, and leading a team with professionalism and purpose.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day feed production operations including production planning, staff supervision, and safety compliance

Coordinate incoming raw material receivals and outgoing product dispatches

Oversee quality control procedures to ensure consistent product standards

Maintain and troubleshoot equipment and machinery as required

Foster a safe, collaborative, and productive workplace culture

Liaise with management to continuously improve operational efficiency

Ideal Candidate:

Experience in the stockfeed or agricultural manufacturing sector is highly desirable

Comparable experience in industrial production or operations management will be considered with training provided

Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of machinery and feed processing equipment

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Physically fit, hands-on, and ready to be part of a hardworking and supportive team

A genuine interest in rural industries and feed production
