We are an architect-led practice with an opportunity for an experienced Cost Estimator/Project Analyst to join our established in-house design and build team. Based in our design studio, we offer a flexible, family-friendly work environment and an opportunity to be involved in a range of exciting high-end residential and commercial projects.

Providing both specialist consultancy and construction services for prefabrication, this position offers an opportunity to undertake a diverse role in a medium-sized design office.

The position involves preparing tender submissions, developing estimates for commercial and residential projects and administration of these contracts. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years industry experience, excellent communication skills and an interest in prefabricated design and construction.

Located within an established team and reporting to the Director, the role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to become an integral part of a rapidly growing business.

Duties and responsibilities will involve:

Preparation of tender submissions and proposals for commercial project opportunities

Development of estimates for commercial projects and larger residential projects

Obtaining subcontractor, supplier and consultant pricing

Preparation of Cost Plans

Required skills and experience include:

Have 5 + years of industry experience with a local construction company

Tertiary qualifications in construction management, building or project management

Proficiency with MS office, specifically Excel and MS Project

Excellent working knowledge of AS4000/4122 and/or AS4902/4300

Sound construction knowledge and ability to work autonomously

High level of attention to detail and excellent written and verbal skills
