Design and Build are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Estimator to join a successful construction company based in Melbourne.
Our client specialises in delivering custom residential projects across some of Melbourne’s most prestigious areas. As a Junior Estimator, you will play a key role in assessing the cost and feasibility of construction projects, working closely with a supportive and experienced team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry and contribute to the continued success of a well-established company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with senior estimators and project managers to understand project requirements.
• Assist in analyzing project plans and specifications to determine project costs.
• Support the development of comprehensive and accurate cost estimates.
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure estimates align with project goals.
• Maintain accurate records of all estimates and supporting documentation.
• Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to make informed decisions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred but not required).
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimation software.
• Strong work ethic and a desire to learn and grow in the construction industry.
