About the role

We are seeking a Qualified Baker to join our team at Bakers Delight Castletown in Townsville, QLD 4810. This is a full-time position, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high-quality standards that Bakers Delight is known for.

Sponsorship is available for this position. Candidate must be willing to relocated to Townsville in North Queensland if living outside of the area & must have bakery experience.

What you'll be doing

Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked goods according to company recipes and standards

Ensure all baked products meet the required taste, texture, and appearance specifications

Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations

Assist with inventory management and ordering of necessary supplies

Provide excellent customer service and a positive in-store experience

Collaborate with the team to continuously improve efficiency and product quality

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications in baking or a related field, such as a Certificate III in Retail Baking

Proven experience as a qualified baker, preferably in a commercial or retail setting

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and procedures with precision

Excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure

A team-oriented approach and the willingness to contribute to a positive work environment

Good communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
