What we’re looking for:

Qualified Chef (Full-time)

Duties and Responsibilities

Prepare, cook, and present meals according to recipes and quality standards

Plan menus, estimate food requirements, and manage inventory

Supervise kitchen staff and ensure smooth kitchen operations

Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene standards in all kitchen areas

Monitor food safety compliance and ensure all regulatory requirements

Assist in training junior kitchen staff and promoting a positive team environment

Ensure timely delivery of food during service and maintain presentation standards

Contribute to new menu ideas and seasonal specials

Requirements

Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent

Proven at least 1 year experience working as a Chef in a busy kitchen environment

Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen operations

Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively

Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills

Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays

Japanese food knowledge with fresh fish handling skills

Salary - $75,000 - $78,000

Day shift

Evening shift

Monday to Friday
