The Opportunity
Due to company growth, we now have a new opportunity to join our QLD team. We are seeking a motivated and hardworking individual with a positive can-do attitude.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Your tasks and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Delivery and Setup of Equipment: Transporting and installing variable message sign (VMS) trailers and other traffic management equipment including light towers, variable speed limit signs, and barriers at client locations.

On-site Asset Servicing: Conducting routine checks and servicing of equipment on client sites to ensure optimal functionality, safety, and compliance with RPM Hire standards.

Client Liaison: Engaging professionally with clients to ensure their needs are fully met, issues are resolved promptly, and expectations are exceeded.

Process Compliance: Following all operational procedures and safety protocols with diligence and accuracy.

Proactive Contribution: Demonstrating initiative by identifying tasks, taking ownership, and maintaining a proactive work ethic.

Problem Solving & Adaptability: Applying sound judgment to resolve issues quickly and efficiently, especially in dynamic or fast-paced environments.

Labour and Equipment Handling: Performing general labour tasks and operating forklifts for loading and unloading equipment.

Yard Operations: Assisting with the safe and organised upkeep of the yard to facilitate efficient equipment dispatch and returns.

Quality Assurance: Inspecting equipment before dispatch to ensure it meets quality and safety standards.

Workplace Safety: Always adhering to RPM Hire’s safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.

What You Will Bring:

A fork lift license is required.

Mechanic qualification is required.

Valid car licence.

HR license is desirable.

History of safe working practices.

Prior towing experience is valued but not essential, as full training will be provided before starting.

At least 1-year general driving experience is preferable.

Ability to problem solve with a positive 'can-do' attitude.
