About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Qualified motor mechanic to join our team at Ultra Tune Redbank in Redbank QLD 4301 This full-time role is pivotal in maintaining and repairing vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our valued customers.

What you'll be doing

Diagnose, service, and repair a wide range of vehicle makes and models

Carry out scheduled maintenance procedures, including oil changes, brake inspections, and wheel alignments

Perform more complex repairs, such as brake overhauls, transmission rebuilds, and electrical system troubleshooting

Provide exceptional customer service, communicating repair requirements and solutions clearly

Maintain detailed records of all work performed and parts used

Ensure workshop tools and equipment are well-maintained and used safely

Collaborate with the team to identify process improvements and enhance workshop efficiency

What we're looking for

Formal qualification as a motor mechanic, such as a Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology

Minimum 3 years' experience working as a qualified motor mechanic in a similar role

Comprehensive knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently

Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills

Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with industry changes

Current manual driver's licence required

Must possess a comprehensive set of professional automotive tools

Must have Australian citizenship or permanent residency with full work rights

Current trade registration/licence as a qualified motor mechanic
