The Role
· Administers the Work Health and Safety (WHS) Act 2020 and Work Health and Safety (General) Regulations 2022.
· Leads the implementation and engagement of safety reform, continuous improvement and change management approaches.
· Undertakes inspections and reports on working places and practices related to psychosocial harm hazard, including technically complex accidents and incidents.
· Contributes to the development of strategies, processes and policies to effectively promote positive mental health and wellbeing within industry.
· Ensures compliance with and assists in developing governance reporting standards and protocols and risk management requirements for mental health and wellbeing in the workplace.
· Monitors and reports on the management of psychosocial harm in the workplace in accordance with strategic, operational and legislative requirements..
Qualifications & Licenses
· A Bachelor degree or higher qualification relevant to psychology.
· Qualifications in occupational health and safety would be advantageous.
