About The Blue Fin Fishing Club

Established in 1956 by a collective of local fishermen, The Blue Fin Fishing Club proudly stands as Australia's largest fishing club, with over 7,500 members. Today, our nationally renowned social hub offers a warm and inviting setting for members to enjoy quality time with family and friends.

Our diverse facilities include a Bistro, Bar, Café, gaming room, kids' room, and versatile function and training rooms. Conveniently situated in Inala, just 30 minutes from Brisbane CBD, 30 minutes from Ipswich, and 1 hour from the Gold Coast, our club provides a central and accessible location for our members.

About The Role
This casual position will see you coordinating marketing activities across digital, print, and in-venue platforms. You’ll be juggling creative content, scheduling, and day-to-day tasks that keep our promotions and events running smoothly.

You’ll Be Responsible For

Creating and scheduling social media content

Creating and updating events on our website and ticketing platform

Managing in venue signage and digital content uploads (with an eye for print vs digital formats)

Creating and sending marketing emails and SMS campaigns

Designing basic artwork and managing artwork requests

Responding to customer feedback

Approving and implementing club-wide promotions in collaboration with our advertising agencies

Ensuring staff and managers are informed of upcoming promotions and marketing activities to support consistent messaging across the club

Collaborating on the development of food & beverage promotions and themed events

What We're Looking For

Someone with an eye for detail and good design instincts

Confident with tech tools and quick to pick up new systems

Great communicator and team player

Bonus Points If You Have

Experience in hospitality, admin, or front-of-house reception

A background in graphic design, digital marketing, or comms
