About the Role
As the Social Media & Content Coordinator, you will play a key role in enhancing the digital presence of The Point Brisbane Hotel, Lamberts Restaurant, and Eagles Nest Brisbane. From curating engaging content to capturing the energy of our events and daily operations, you’ll help bring our unique brand to life across social platforms.
This role is ideal for someone with 1-2 years’ experience in a social media management and/or content creation role.
Your Day-to-Day
Social Media Management
Support the day-to-day management of all social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok), including drafting, scheduling, and publishing content in alignment with brand tone and visual identity.
Content Creation & Visual Storytelling
Capture and curate engaging imagery and video content across all outlets to support storytelling, promotions, and campaign messaging.
Graphic Design
Create engaging visual content using Canva, such as:
Instagram stories and reels
Promotional graphics and print materials
Menus and event collateral
Campaign Support & Planning
Assist in the implementation of monthly content calendars and participate in creative brainstorming sessions to generate ideas for upcoming campaigns and activations.
Event Coverage
Attend events and rooftop activations to capture live content, provide real-time social coverage, and support event execution as needed.
Community Engagement
Monitor social media channels and assist in responding to comments, messages, and mentions to foster positive community interaction.
Website Maintenance
Help update website content, including promotional offers, event listings, and menu updates in a timely manner.
Digital Asset Management
Assist with archiving digital content, maintaining organised records of visuals and campaigns, and supporting general marketing administration tasks.
Preferred Skills:
Graphic design experience (Canva, Adobe Suite)
Photography and/or videography skills
Familiarity with social media scheduling tools (e.g. Meta Business Suite, TikTok Scheduler)
