Reporting to the Managing Director the Manufacturing Manager will be responsible for the operational capability of the factory and supporting functions to meet agreed forecasted targets delivered on time in full to spec. It is expected that the factory will adopt best manufacturing practice through the adoption and behaviours of Lean concepts and principles on the floor and through the process, to create a continuous improvement work culture.

To be considered for this role you must be degree qualified in engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing or similar) with a deep and demonstrable understanding of applied lean concepts and principles to achieve Operational Excellence have a detailed understanding of the Demand and Supply Planning function and with 5-7 years minimum in a factory site management role leading teams of up to 30+ team members with 6 direct reports.

You will be an excellent communicator and champion of safe work practice, with an approachable and caring factory floor style that build trust, confidence and commitment as an inspirational leader. Experience with steel, building products or construction would set you ahead of the pack.
