CTA Fencing and Metal Works is a small but busy fencing and metal works sub-contractor servicing Tier 1 Commercial Construction across Victoria. It is a member of the CTA Group of businesses with an operation in each state, a diverse product portfolio and over 85 employees nationally which has led to CTA experiencing significant growth both through company acquisitions and an expanding market share.

CTA is seeking a well-rounded individual as a working Site Foreman. It is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to get involved in the operation of a business in the construction industry and exercise the skills required to see projects from inception through to final completion.

Site Foreman – Fencing and Metal Works

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Site Foreman to lead Fencing and Metal Works projects across Melbourne. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for delivering high-quality installations, liaising with builders, managing site teams, and ensuring project timelines are met.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and driving Fencing and Metal Works installations on site.

Read technical drawings, measure jobs accurately and provide input to the fabrication team.

Liaise effectively with builders, site managers, and other trades.

Ensure projects run to schedule, within budget, and meet quality standards.

Supervise and lead site teams to achieve smooth and safe project delivery.

Solve on-site challenges and keep project stakeholders informed.

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience as a working Site Foreman in Fencing, Carpentry, Concreting, a registered Builder or related fields, preferably in the Commercial Construction.

Strong ability to read and interpret plans, measure accurately, and manage site logistics.

Excellent communication skills for working with builders and project managers.

Ability to lead teams by example, drive site productivity, and uphold safety and quality standards.

A proactive, solutions-driven attitude and able to make good decisions.
