- Band 3 $69,181 - $73,600 per annum (dependent on experience) plus superannuation
About this opportunity
We are looking for a Reserves Response Officer to join our dedicated Sportsgrounds and Reserves Team. In this role, you will carry out essential maintenance of Kingston’s parks, reserves, and public open spaces to ensure they are clean, safe, and welcoming for the community.
What you’ll deliver
Routine and reactive maintenance tasks including mowing, litter collection, graffiti removal, painting, and General Landscaping and Horticulture related activities.
Repairs and installation of park furniture, gates, bins, and recreation infrastructure
Support with inspections, small project delivery, and asset condition audits
Accurate documentation and reporting of maintenance activities using Council's IT systems
Your Skills and Experience
A Trade Certificate or equivalent, or demonstrated hands on experience in maintaining open space assets, including but not limited to; garden maintenance, building/construction maintenance, sports turf maintenance and general landscaping
Confidence in using power and hand tools, and operating plant machinery such as tractors, backhoes, and skid steers
A valid Victorian driver’s license (manual MR preferred)
Strong team player with good communication skills and a commitment to community service
