About the role

Scott JG Constructions is seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our highly skilled team in Umina Beach, NSW. As a Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in the construction and renovation of residential and commercial buildings, contributing to the overall success of our projects. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects in the local area.

What you'll be doing

Interpreting blueprints and technical diagrams to carry out construction and renovation tasks

Building, repairing, and installing a range of wooden structures, such as walls, floors, roofs, and cabinetry

Collaborating with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project coordination

Maintaining a safe and organised work environment, adhering to all relevant safety standards and procedures

Providing high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail in all tasks

Participating in the maintenance and upkeep of tools and equipment

What we're looking for

Qualified Carpenter with a Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent

Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar carpentry role, preferably in the construction industry

Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings

Skilled in the use of hand and power tools, and experience with woodworking machinery

Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Commitment to maintaining a safe and organised work environment
