Location: Based at our new Surry Hills bakery (opening August), with 2 days per week at Bondi Beach.
Employment: Full-time position — split between on-shift FOH work and admin/management duties.
Reports to: General Manager

About the Role

Bondi Boulangerie is growing — and we’re looking for an experienced Front of House Manager to oversee daily service and front-of-house operations across our three bakeries (Surry Hills, Bondi Beach & Sydney CBD).

This is a full-time position, split between working active shifts with the team and off-floor admin and management. You’ll lead our front-of-house staff, keep our service smooth and consistent, handle rostering, training and stock control, and make sure our coffee, milk and packaging supplies never run out.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and lead all front of house operations across 3 locations.

Work active shifts on the floor, ensuring great customer experience and smooth daily service.

Create and manage staff rosters to meet trade and wage budgets.

Train and develop FOH team members — maintain high service and presentation standards.

Oversee daily stock checks, ordering and control of front-of-house consumables (coffee, milk, packaging, takeaway items).

Liaise with suppliers and manage FOH costs effectively.

Keep all sites tidy, clean and service-ready at all times.

Spend approx. 70% of hours on active shifts and 30% on admin/management tasks.

Report directly to the General Manager and support wider business goals.

About You

Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in hospitality management (café, bakery or fast-paced food service).

Confident leader who works well both on the floor and behind the scenes.

Strong skills in rostering, training and ordering.

Organised, reliable and hands-on — willing to jump in wherever needed.

Great communicator and team motivator.

Able to work flexibly between sites (mainly based in Surry Hills, 2 days per week at Bondi Beach).

Must have full Australian working rights (no sponsorship offered for this role).
