Tattersalls Boutique Hotel Armidale, a heritage-listed luxury hotel in the heart of the New England High Country, is seeking a Front of House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our food and beverage service. From our elegant dining room to our bustling cocktail bar and lounge, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering the high standards that define the Tattersalls experience.
🥂 About the Role
As Front of House Manager – Food & Beverage, you will be responsible for leading our front-of-house team across the restaurant, bar, and event spaces. You’ll manage daily service operations, maintain quality standards, and ensure guests receive impeccable and seamless hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, including restaurant, bar, and in-room dining
Lead, train, and roster a team of front-of-house staff, including waitstaff and bartenders
Drive service excellence and ensure a consistently high level of guest satisfaction
Monitor floor operations during service, responding to guest needs and resolving issues swiftly
Collaborate with the Head Chef and Operations Director to coordinate menu updates, service standards, and event requirements with our event coordinator
Manage bookings, table allocations, and function coordination
Ensure compliance with RSA, hygiene, and OH&S regulations
Maintain cleanliness, presentation, and ambience across all guest-facing areas
✅ What We’re Looking For
Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar leadership role within a high-end restaurant, hotel, or luxury venue
Proven ability to manage and motivate a service team in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
Strong knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service standards
Hands-on management style with a “lead by example” attitude
Immaculate personal presentation and professional communication skills
Experience with POS and reservation systems
Current RSA certification
Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
