An established and respected design and construct firm is seeking a hands-on Commercial Manager to join their high-performing team. The Opportunity

You’ll work closely with Estimating, Pre-Construction, and Delivery teams to shape commercial outcomes, negotiate contracts, and drive profitability across a diverse project portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and approve purchase orders, supplier contracts, and pricing structures
• Drive improvements in estimating, pricing strategies, and margin protection
• Lead project close-out reviews – assessing margin erosion, variation control, and delivery performance
• Strengthen commercial frameworks with subcontractors and suppliers, balancing risk and value
• Partner with Project Managers and Sales to embed commercial thinking throughout project lifecycles
• Influence stakeholders at all levels – from junior team members to senior leaders and external partners

What We’re Looking For

• A Commercial Manager or Senior Contract Administrator with leadership experience in commercial fit-out, new build or engineering
• A hands-on operator who enjoys getting into the detail and leading by example
• A strong communicator with the gravitas to influence and challenge at all levels
• A commercial thinker who is curious, resilient, and solutions-focused
• Solid negotiation and risk management skills, with proven contract admin capability
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and support others in a collaborative yet firm leadership style
