About Them

Our client is a highly regarded commercial builder. Specialising in commercial fit-outs, they are a go to builder for office, retail and industrial projects across Metro Melbourne. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an ambitious and experienced Contract Administrator or Project Manager looking to join an exciting and growing team with a strong pipeline of projects.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Project Manager or Contract Administrator with a strong background in fit-out construction. You’ll be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of multiple commercial interior projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage commercial fit-out projects from inception to completion
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Oversee scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and site progress
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Provide leadership and support to project teams
• Prepare project reports and manage client communication

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience managing commercial fit-out projects (ideally $500K–$5M range)
• Strong understanding of the Melbourne construction landscape and local compliance requirements
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to lead and motivate site and office teams
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in the commercial construction industry in a CA or PM role
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management or related field
• Current Victorian Driver’s Licence
• White Card and full Australian working rights required
