About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Supervisor based in or around Brisbane or surrounding areas to join our team on a permanent basis. The position is FIFO from Brisbane or DIDO to Emerald on a 3/1 roster.

We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Civil Supervisor with a solid background in roadworks/stabilisation. You will be committed, reliable and focused on a long-term career with us.

What You'll Do

Supervise and manage a team of construction workers, subcontractors, and tradespeople

Coordinate project activities, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations

Interpret and implement project plans, drawings, and specifications

Monitor and maintain quality standards throughout the construction process

Conduct regular site inspections and provide progress reports to the management team

Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise on-site promptly and efficiently

Collaborate with management and engineers to ensure effective communication and coordination

Responsible for completion of daily site diaries, photos, pre starts & reports

What We're Looking For

Min 5 years’ experience as a Civil Supervisor with a solid background in roadworks/stabilisation

Experience with private, heavy industry, local and state government infrastructure projects up to $5M

Comprehensive experience in managing and executing bulk earthworks, pavements, stabilisation and drainage (essential)

Construction white card (essential)

Concreting experience (highly regarded)

Excellent leadership and team management skills

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Proficient in using construction software and tools

Solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations

High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality results

Valid driver's license and willingness to travel

Ability to pass a pre-employment medical & D&A – if required

Earthmoving tickets - HR, excavator, grader, roller and skidsteer (highly regarded)

Willing to work FIFO
