About the Role

Gulf Civil have an opportunity for an experienced Senior Estimator to join our growing team based in North Brisbane (Northlakes).

As the Estimator, you will be working across a variety of projects, reporting into the General Manager. You will provide estimating support and guidance associated with exciting upcoming tenders and projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Working with the precontracts team to source and prepare submissions to clients for expressions of interest and tenders for civil construction projects

Preparing first principles cost estimates and estimating reports using Expert Estimation

Working with the precontracts team to prepare subcontractor and supplier requests for quotations and clarifying their quotations regarding compliance with specifications and relevant standards

Preparation of detailed internal estimates and cost plans to tender settlement stage

Preparing post submission responses and pricing work ranging from $1 million to $25 million

Working with the precontracts team to prepare staging and methodologies for tenders

Working with the precontracts team to prepare tender programs matching the staging and methodologies

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Demonstrated history of delivery winning submissions

Minimum of 5 years' experience in an estimating role with a engineering/construction delivery background

Excellent communication skills
