The Opportunity
This is a fantastic chance to step into a key role where you’ll own the payroll and accounts payable functions and play an integral part in the organisation’s financial operations. Reporting to a supportive Finance Manager, you’ll enjoy variety in your work, from managing weekly payroll and supplier payments to assisting with budgets and audits.

The Role
You’ll be responsible for managing payroll and accounts payable functions, with opportunities to support broader finance activities.
- Process weekly bills with accuracy and timeliness
- Manage accounts payable, including monitoring the Accounts inbox and responding to queries
- Prepare monthly accounts payable reconciliation reports and follow up on outstanding items
- End-to-end payroll processing, including superannuation, PAYG and Single Touch Payroll (STP) submissions
- Maintain payroll records, including onboarding/offboarding staff and processing salary reviews
- Submit quarterly BAS statements and insurance wage declarations
- Assist with financial reporting, budgeting updates and year-end audit preparations
- Collaborate across teams to ensure accurate allocation of funds and expenses
- Provide backup support for accounts receivable and bank reconciliations when required
The Ideal Person
You are a skilled and reliable payroll and accounts professional with strong MYOB experience and a knack for financial accuracy. You’re confident managing end-to-end payroll, accounts payable processes and thrive on staying organised and responsive in a busy environment.
Your excellent communication skills help you work effectively with colleagues, auditors and external stakeholders. You’re a problem-solver who takes ownership of your work and understands the importance of confidentiality and compliance. If you bring experience in human resources administration or NDIS funding processes, it will be highly regarded.
Salary / Rate
- $75k + 12% Super
- Open to Full Time or Part Time
- 3 – 6 months opportunity
