This is an opportunity to have a significant national impact on the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community. FNF’s Financial Wellness Outreach program has reunited $30 million with more than 2000 community members across 30 urban, regional and remote locations and continues to grow. Our proven model of Financial Fitness workshops that teach people good money habits, including how to reduce debt, budget, save and create intergenerational financial prosperity are highly sought after and creating life changing impact. Over the next three years, FNF’s strategy focuses on how to reach more people, continuously improve our programs and advocate for better financial outcomes for our communities.

Paid leave over Christmas close down period.

Ability to work from home or remotely from anywhere across Australia.

Salary packaging available.

About the role

You will primarily support the delivery of FNF’s On Country programs that focus on embedding financial literacy education in communities on a national scale. You will be part of a small team of First Nations trainers delivering Financial Fitness workshops and FNF’s 2 day train the trainer model across both youth and regional community cohorts.

A central focus of your role is to deliver engaging financial education workshops across urban, regional and remote First Nations communities. You will build and actively maintain relationships with key community stakeholders and manage delivery partnerships, while also managing multiple and competing demands, often including interstate travel.

You will be an experienced and engaging facilitator who becomes an expert in the delivery of FNF’s Financial Fitness training and the two-day Train the Trainer model to a variety of First Nations community audiences. As a community expert, you will assist the team in ensuring that FNF’s programs remain fit for purpose in both their content and delivery style, meaning that you will occasionally need to contribute to program updates and content creation.

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to upskill in the delivery of cultural competency training for finance sector professionals, through FNF’s Culture & Money program. You’ll be able to draw on your professional and lived experience to deliver workshops that help banks, super funds and insurers, as well as other finance sector groups to better service their customers and clients.
