Our client, a very large, Federal Government Organisation, Seek the experience of an APS4 Finance Officer.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a range of financial processing functions, in particular accounts payable.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders regarding accounts payable.
• Assist with credit card management.
• Assist with the collection of data for both internal and external reporting, audit and ad-hoc requests such as Senate Estimates etc.
• Assist with official passport stocktakes, mail outs and other general administrative duties related to the Financial Operations area.
• Ad hoc projects relating to the Financial Operations team and/or the wider Finance and Facilities section
  
  

Experience:

• Demonstrated experience, or the capability to develop ability, in interpreting and applying government policies in a financial operations environment in a public sector entity.
• Demonstrated ability to understand relevant legislation and policy frameworks requirements.
• Well-developed communication skills including negotiation and representation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative, set and manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain productive working relationships.
