About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Officer to join our finance team. This role is ideal for someone with a solid understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.

The role is part time (24 hours per week) on a 3 month contract.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts payable and receivable processing

Bank reconciliations

Assisting with month-end reporting

Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation

Liaising with suppliers and internal departments to resolve queries

Other general accounting and administrative duties as required

About You:

Previous experience in a similar accounts or finance role

Strong understanding of accounting software ( Xero)

High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Excellent time management and organizational skills

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications

Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude

Certificate IV in accounting or bookkeeping
