Position: Technical Business Analyst
Base Salary: $150,000 + Super + bonus
Location: Northern Suburbs, Melbourne
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role:
Talenza is partnering with a leading SaaS organisation seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join their dynamic team. This role is critical in supporting the team's capacity and bridging the gap between business needs and technical delivery. You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements, assess feasibility, and ensure the successful delivery of product features. Key Responsibilities:

• Business to Technical Translation: Translate business challenges into clear technical requirements, including system capabilities, UI needs, and country-specific functionality.
• Feasibility & Scope Assessment: Collaborate with product and engineering teams to assess the feasibility and scope of new features, providing insights and recommendations.
• Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Identify the root cause of technical issues and recommend necessary system changes or process improvements.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Gather customer insights and usage data to inform design decisions, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Key Skills & Experience:

• SaaS Experience: Strong background in a SaaS (B2B) environment, ideally with experience in global markets.
• Payments Platform Knowledge: Familiarity with payments platforms is advantageous
• Tech Expertise: Experience with platforms like SiteMinder, hotel groups, Xero, or MYOB is highly regarded.
• Systems Understanding: Strong understanding of how systems work (e.g., the mechanics of a car) with the ability to articulate the technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
• SQL Proficiency: Ability to query data using SQL, although database-building skills are not required.
• Self-Starter & Proactive Learner: A curious mindset, always looking to learn, ask questions, and proactively seek out solutions.
