We’re partnering with a national law firm to find an experienced and admin-focused Legal Assistant to join their Sydney Employment & Industrial Relations team.
This role supports a down-to-earth and values-driven Director, along with two other key team members, in a high-performing practice focused on workplace rights and social justice. The Sydney office is close-knit and collaborative.

What you’ll be doing
- Prepare and file court documents, affidavits, and briefs to Counsel;
- Draft correspondence and legal documents using dictation and precedents;
- Manage diaries, travel bookings, meetings, and general team coordination;
- Open, maintain, and close files using Practice Evolve (electronic and physical);
- Handle billing, cost agreements, and end-of-matter archiving; and
- Support client communications and provide overflow admin support when needed.
What we’re looking for
You’re a Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary who brings:
- Solid experience in court filing, brief preparation, and legal admin;
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure;
- Excellent written and verbal communication; and
- A proactive, team-oriented attitude with a desire to support those around you.
