We are currently looking for qualified Diesel Motor Mechanic to join our team in the Horsham yard on a full time basis.

Description:

Facilitate current maintenance program

Liase with freight managers and drivers regarding timing of servicing/repairs

Perform trouble shooting and diagnostics on vehicles and equipment

Organising mechanic contractors to perform breakdown repairs and C services

Perform A & B servicing, small repairs and adjustments when required

Completing service reports

Maintain stock and tidiness of the parts room

Requirements:

Computer literacy

Australian Trade Certificate

10+ years as a heavy diesel mechanic (preferred but not essential)

Experience with Kenworth, Hendrickson and SAF Holland is an advantage

Full understanding of vehicle standards, NHVAS Regulations and the maintenance management component

Able to effectively diagnose and find faults in the mechanical assessment of all aspects of the HV truck fleet and trailers as well as our yard equipment.

Self-motivated and ability to work autonomously

A positive and proactive approach

Current Drivers Licence
