Clarity Partners is partnering with a well-established construction group based in the inner suburbs of Perth. This organisation delivers mid-to-large-scale civil and commercial construction projects across Western Australia.

We are seeking a Management Accountant to join their finance team, delivering key financial insights to support project profitability and steer strategic decisions. This is a great opportunity for a first mover out of Big 4 to step into industry and make a tangible impact. You’ll provide financial oversight, support project accounting, and deliver insights to guide key business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly management reports, including P&L, balance sheet, and WIP
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across multiple projects
• Perform cash flow analysis and support financial planning
• Manage monthly journals, accruals, and prepayments
• Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy in project cost reporting
• Support project teams with commercial and cost tracking insights
• Assist with year-end audit, tax compliance, and statutory reporting
• Improve reporting processes and support continuous financial system enhancements

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
• CA or CPA qualified (or in final stages)
• 3+ years’ experience in audit
• Big 4 audit background is highly desirable
• Strong analytical skills and a commercial mindset
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
• Proficient with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
• Motivated, detail-oriented, and ready to take ownership in a dynamic environment
