The Opportunity
We are currently experiencing exciting growth within our Corporate and Audit Services division in Perth. As a result, we are seeking applications from highly motivated, detail-oriented Senior Accountants and Assistant Managers looking to join our audit team.

Your role as a Senior Accountant
To provide a systematic and independent examination of our client’s financial records, operations and performance. In this position, you will be expected to adhere to all independence and ethical requirements in the delivery of services to our clients and are responsible for the implementation of all agreed assurance procedures with a focus on assisting new and existing clients grow. You will be part of a dynamic and high-performing team, focused on strong client service with a friendly, supportive, and positive team culture.

Your role as an Assistant Manager
To be involved in running audit engagements ensuring successful completion through to providing guidance to junior staff as well as being responsible for opportunities to engage with clients and add value.

About You

If you are applying to be a Senior Accountant with our firm we are looking for the following:

• A Commerce or Business degree qualification, with an Accounting major.
• CA qualified or progressing towards qualification.
• At least 2 years recent senior experience in external audit, preferably currently working within public practice.
• Understanding of audit methodology and procedures in addition to knowledge of auditing standards and the Corporations Act.
• Experience with listed companies would be an advantage.
• The ability to develop trusting relationships with your clients.
• Display maturity when dealing with clients and staff consistent with the HLB Mann Judd brand.
• Eligible Australian work rights.

If you are applying to be an Assistant Manager with our firm we are looking for the following:

• A Commerce or Business degree qualification, with an Accounting major.
• CA, CPA qualified or progressing towards qualification.
• 3 years or more experience in external audit.
• Experience with listed companies highly desirable.
• Proficient in the use of Caseware or similar audit tool.
• Technically proficient and up to date with Auditing and Accounting Standards.
• Ability to prioritise work so that audit deadlines for all clients are met.
• Eligible Australian work rights.
