Our client, a family owned and operated business, specialise in rail, civil and commercial construction.
As a result of growth, an opportunity has become available for an experienced Safety Coordinator to join the team on a part time basis.
SAFETY COORDINATOR
Start: ASAP
Duration: Temp to Perm
Hours: Part time (25-30hrs per week) - flexible on days
Location: Thomastown, VIC
Rate: $75 per hour + superannuation
THE ROLE:
We're looking for an experienced Safety Coordinator with previous rail experience to contribute across a range of projects, and ensure workplace health and safety compliance.
You will have a strong understanding of safety legislation, compliance and risk management, and demonstrated experience creating CRR and SWMS.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 3 years' experience working as a Safety Coordinator
- Previous rail experience (metro trains or level crossings)
- Background in the construction sector (ideal)
- Certificate in Workplace Health & Safety (or equivalent)
- Proficient with MS Office and Hammertech software
- C Class Driver's Licence
- FULL Australian Working Rights
