About the Client:
Government department tasked with making life easier, accessible, and equitable for thousands of individuals and families across Australia. Currently seeking for a talented PMO Coordinator to join their busy team for a casual 12 months temporary assignment.
About the Role
As a PMO Coordinator, you will be part of a team responsible in the delivery of customer value in technology-enabled business services. In addition, your key duties are as follows:
- Develop project schedule and balancing technical dependencies and business requirements and other priorities.
- Actively track project activities using standard Project Management tool, including management of plans, risks, issues and key decisions.
- Publish Weekly Status Reports and review with the Payments Director.
- Assist in the development and implementation of program strategies.
- Provide senior level project management/administrative support and coordination.
- Create, maintain, and augment reports, analyses, and manage risks and issues registers.
- Collaborate with leaders and key stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, assumptions, dependencies, value proposition, and impacted organisational functions and systems.
- Facilitate team meetings and manage team kanban board.
About You
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Proven experience in a similar Program / Project Coordination, PMO, and/or Business Administration role, ideally within the public sector industry
- Competency in SharePoint, Jira & Confluence.
- Demonstrate strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
- Well-developed communications skills.
- Competency in Microsoft applications, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
