This pivotal role offers the opportunity to shape and deliver key HR, culture, wellbeing, and occupational health and safety strategies, ensuring alignment with our Corporate Plan and compliance with relevant legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Oversight:
Lead the development and implementation of a contemporary workforce strategy, focusing on the entire employee life cycle. - Data-Driven Decisions:
Monitor, analyse, and interpret people metrics to inform HR, safety, and wellbeing initiatives. - System Management:
Implement and manage HR, OHS, and payroll systems to ensure efficiency and compliance. - Policy Development:
Create and enforce HR, safety, and wellbeing policies that meet legislative standards and industry best practices. - Advisory Role:
Provide expert advice on conditions, entitlements, and enterprise agreement negotiations. - OHS Performance:
Oversee and report on OHS performance, facilitating the OHS Committee with a focus on continuous improvement. - Representation:
Represent the organisation in HR and OHS-related proceedings and negotiations.
About You:
- Collaborative Leader:
You thrive in a team environment and can effectively collaborate across various program areas. - Hands-On Approach:
You are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and deliver broad HR and OHS services, including fleet and payroll functions. - Coaching and Development:
You have a knack for coaching and developing others to build their capabilities and achieve sound outcomes. - Stakeholder Management:
You excel at building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including service providers and government bodies.
This role is initially a 3-month temporary position, offering hybrid work set up with the majority of role being WFH.
With an hourly rate of $70 p/hr + super, this role is looking for someone that can start immediately and has the potential to go permanent.
