About the role
Bendooley Estate in Berrima, NSW is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Wedding/Events Coordinator to join our team. This full-time position will support our experienced Events Coordinator in managing the end-to-end logistics of weddings, corporate events and other functions at our beautiful venue.
What you'll be doing
Assisting with the planning and coordination of weddings, corporate events, and other functions at Bendooley Estate
Being the key point of contact for clients, managing their enquiries and expectations throughout the event planning process
Collaborating with the internal team, including the Events Coordinator, chefs, and operational staff, to ensure the successful delivery of all events
Liaising with external vendors such as florists, photographers, and entertainment providers
Providing on-the-day support, as and when needed, to the operational team to ensure the smooth running of events
Maintaining meticulous records and detailed event files
Assisting with promotional activities and marketing initiatives to attract new event bookings
What we're looking for
Previous experience in a similar events coordination role, preferably within the hospitality or tourism industry
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and internal stakeholders
A passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences for clients
Proficiency in event applications, with the ability to maintain detailed records and event documentation. Experience using Ivvy would be advantageous
A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work calmly under pressure, also being available to work on weekends and some evenings
A relevant tertiary qualification in event management, hospitality, or a related field would be highly regarded
