Sports Physiotherapy South is looking for a part time receptionist to join our friendly team in Caringbah (Sutherland Shire).

3.5 days a fortnight with availability for additional casual hours providing cover for sick leave and holiday leave

This role will suit if you are organised, with common sense and a friendly welcoming personality. This is a great opportunity for an experienced receptionist looking to work within a supportive team in a part time role

Start date ASAP

Essential for this position:

- be available for shifts on Mondays and Tuesdays on a regular basis (approx. 32 hours per fortnight) - preferably with flexibility for occasional extra shifts to cover sick/annual leave

- live locally to the clinic and be familiar with the local area

- you must have a high level of customer service and presentation and be able to provide evidence of at least 5 years’ experience in a customer facing role requiring exceptional customer service

- demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to maintain complete and accurate office records and clinical documentation

- computer experience and competence is essential

- you must be a team player who is not afraid to take responsibility

- must possess a high level of organisational and administrative ability

- be able to multi task, and be capable of maintaining attention to detail whilst busy

- be respectful, honest, friendly, reliable, personable, professional and motivated

- be able to demonstrate you are self-motivated, diligent & enthusiastic

- possess high level organizational and time management skills

- be able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

- previous experience & knowledge of systems and claiming for HICAPS, private health funds, Medicare, DVA, CTP and Workcover is an advantage

- previous experience using computer diary programs for patient appointments, billing and receipting, and end of day reconciliations is an advantage

- proof of current COVID-19 vaccination status as per health guidelines for Health Care
