We are seeking a friendly, organised, and professional Receptionist to join our dynamic College Administration Team. As the first point of contact for students, staff, families, and visitors, you will play a vital role in creating a warm and efficient front office environment while supporting a range of administrative tasks that contribute to the smooth operation of the College.
About the Role
The Receptionist is responsible for managing front desk operations, including answering calls, greeting visitors, and supporting student and parent inquiries. This role also involves day-to-day administrative support, managing sign-in processes, student logistics, and contributing to College events and co-curricular life.
Your ability to communicate effectively, multitask under pressure, and maintain a professional and approachable presence will be essential in this highly visible role.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all front desk duties including phone, email, and visitor reception.
Coordinate student and visitor sign-in/sign-out processes.
Liaise with students, parents, and staff to facilitate item deliveries, transport passes, and general enquiries.
Maintain the reception area to a high standard of cleanliness and professionalism.
Support the mobile phone register, daily student runner coordination, and attendance logistics.
Assist with College events, carnivals, and special activities as needed.

About You
As someone with previous experience in a receptionist, front desk, or administrative role (school environment preferred) you possess:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a welcoming and positive attitude.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
An ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and efficiency in a busy environment.
Technology and office systems skills, with adaptability to learn school-specific software.
A collaborative and community-minded approach to work.
What We Offer
A part-time job share position where you will work 8.00 am to 4.00 pm every Thursday and Friday plus every second Wednesday. This is a Term Time Only position.
