Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking a Workforce Business Partner, Family and Disability Services (FaDS). Our Family and Disability Services are leaders in crisis response, the protection of vulnerable people and children, financial resilience and family wellbeing.
Reporting to the Manager, Workforce Business Partnering, in this role you will provide strategic HR support to the Family and Disability Services, whilst ensuring alignment to the UnitingCare wide strategy and priorities.
You will work closely with leaders to understand business challenges and priorities, understand the strategic landscape, and use this to define desired workforce outcomes and support co-design of fit-for-purpose integrated P&C initiatives and processes, through collaborating with P&C centres of excellence.
Please note, this is a full time, permanent opportunity, where in office and on-site days will be a requirement.
In this role you will:
Lead, manage and promote HR and people management practices to achieve organisational success through excellent stakeholder relationships and continuous service improvement activities including the coordination, development and implementation of HR solutions that address key workforce challenges for the medium and long-term.
Collaborate with the Employee Relations team for advice on industrial awards, legislative matters, and provide specialist advice, guidance and support regarding current industrial Award provisions, legislative matters, and change management processes relating to restructures.
Develop and deliver cultural change initiatives and employee engagement action plans.
Provide strategic initiatives and guidance in the development of talent strategies, workforce planning, recruitment approaches and organisational structures.
Establish relationships with Senior Managers to provide professional advice, coaching and support in the implementation of human resource strategies and the resolution of complex human resources issues.
Execute the People Cycle annually, including remuneration, talent, succession, and performance and conduct internal reporting on the People and Culture section of the balanced scorecard performance framework and contribute to monthly reporting.
Develop and deliver robust change and/or communications programs (including restructures and realignments), report back on outcomes and provide advice and support to the relevant BU SLT and General Manager, Business Partnering.
What makes a difference for us?
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, providing strategic and tactical advice to senior leaders.
Previous experience implementing HR initiatives and programs with demonstrated evidence of impact on key workforce outcomes.
Experience supporting complex or business wide improvement programs and relevant ER/IR experience.
Ability to drive accountability whilst engaging and motivating team members (where relevant).
Experience in identifying complex problems and reviewing related information.
