Your part in our UnitingCare team:
Manage and/or coordinate employee relations claims and undertake advocacy of matters in conciliation/mediation conferences before the Fair Work Commission.
Manage and lead workplace investigations and prepare case management documentation including investigation reports and outcome letters.
Engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including unions and professional associations.
Participate actively in enterprise agreement negotiation workgroups including preparation, consultation and approval processes where required
Maintain accurate and up-to-date case documentation and ensure appropriate confidentiality and compliance standards are upheld.
Ensure cases are undertaken using trauma informed case management principles.
What makes a difference for us?
Tertiary qualifications in Law, Human Resources or Industrial Relations, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience providing employee relations advice to employees.
Demonstrated experience leading workplace investigations end-to-end, proven experience in interpreting and providing advice on the correct application of, enterprise agreements, legislation and employment-related policies.
Previous experience in advocacy and defence of cases in the Fair Work Commission, including the drafting of submissions.
Sound and current knowledge of employment-related legislation and frameworks.
