Provide expert interpretation and guidance on enterprise agreements, modern awards, Fair Work Act and related instruments.

Monitor legislative and industrial changes and assess impact on existing instruments and practice.

Build and maintain effective relationships with union representatives and employee delegates.

Manage matters that may escalate to external forums including the Fair Work Commission, ensuring preparation and representation is aligned with organisational values and objectives.

What makes a difference for us?

Tertiary qualifications in Law, Human Resources or Industrial Relations, with an in-depth knowledge of employee and employment relations legislation and frameworks.

Demonstrated experience in leading enterprise agreement negotiations within a complex or regulated environment.

Deep understanding of industrial instruments, legislation and contemporary ER practices, with a proven ability to develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships, including with unions.

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with practical experience in a large, complex organisation, with experience in developing business focused enterprise agreement strategies.

Strong analytical, communication and negotiation skills, with a high level of judgement and discretion in handling sensitive industrial matters.
