About the role

Nautitech Mining Systems is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Accounts Payable & Receivable Officer to join our team in Castle Hill, NSW on a casual basis 3 days per week. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of our accounts payable and receivable processes, playing a crucial part in supporting the Accounts Manager.

What you'll be doing

Respond to supplier queries and resolve discrepancies.

Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.

Match purchase orders, delivery dockets, and invoices.

Maintain vendor files and ensure contact details are up to date.

Generate and send customer invoices.

Monitor outstanding debts and follow up on overdue accounts.

Reconcile customer payments and bank deposits.

Communicate with customers regarding billing inquiries.

Prepare reports on aged receivables as required.

Maintain accurate records and filing systems (physical and digital).

Support monthly end-of-period processes and reporting

Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders.

Provide general administrative support to the Account’s Manager

What we're looking for

Strong attention to detail and excellent numeric skills, with the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy

Proficient in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications, such as MYOB, Xero, ERP system and Microsoft excel.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both internal and external stakeholders

Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently to meet deadlines

2 years of experience in an administrative or finance-related role desirable but not essential

Experience with accounts payable and/or receivable processes desirable.
