About the role

Interested in gaining practical experience in accounting and finance? 111 Accounting & Taxation Pty Ltd is seeking a bright, self-motivated Accounts Intern to join our team in Blacktown, NSW on a casual basis. This role will provide you with hands-on exposure to a variety of accounting and financial tasks, allowing you to apply your academic knowledge in a real-world setting.

What you'll be doing

Assisting with the preparation of income tax returns, business activity statements and payroll etc

Bookkeeping including performing data entry and maintaining accurate financial records

Reconciling bank statements, payroll, accounts receivable and accounts payable

Gaining experience in the use of accounting software like handitax, handiledger, Xero and MYOB

What we're looking for

Currently enrolled in an accounting degree program or have completed an accounting degree

International students who have accounting qualifications can also apply

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. A person with knowledge of Handitax and Handiledger software will be preferred.

A keen interest in gaining practical experience in the accounting softawares like handitax, handiledger, MYOB and Xero
