Job Summary:
As a Sales Lead for Rentals and Capital Equipment, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, maintaining and growing client relationships, and driving sales growth in both rentals and the sale of capital equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong sales acumen, an in-depth understanding of the rental and equipment industry, and exceptional customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve business targets and expand our market presence in rentals and capital equipment.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships with existing clients, identify opportunities for upselling, and maintain customer satisfaction through exceptional service.
- Lead Generation and Qualification: Identify and pursue new business leads through research, networking, and industry events; qualify potential clients to ensure alignment with company offerings.
- Product Expertise: Maintain an in-depth understanding of our product range, rental options, and competitive landscape to effectively communicate value propositions to clients.
- Proposal Creation and Negotiation: Prepare customized proposals, respond to RFPs, and negotiate contracts to secure profitable deals.
- Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Maintain accurate sales records, report on sales activities, and provide forecasts to management on a regular basis.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to align sales campaigns with company goals and collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improve sales strategies.
- Training and Mentoring: Train and mentor junior sales team members to build a high-performing sales team.
Qualifications:

- Proficiency in CRM software and sales reporting tools.

- High level of professional integrity.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of proven sales experience in the rental and capital equipment industry; experience in a leadership or senior sales role is a plus.
