Job Description
Develop and implement sales functional strategies & initiatives to meet monthly / quarterly / annual revenue and YOY growth targets.
Develop AOP sales plan for the overall business considering market segment, product group, etc.
Develop and manage personnel in the technical sales team to increase effectiveness and efficiencies
Product Information Accuracy: Ensure all product details, such as- Descriptions, Prices, Bill of Materials , Std Costs and Promotions, are accurate and up-to-date. This helps in providing correct information to customers.
Ensure sales team efforts focused on exceeding customer expectations and capitalizing on market opportunities
Continually review economic conditions, industrial trends and competitive actions in our market and initiate appropriate actions / recommendations, as well as develop / execute proactive initiatives within the Sales function
Develop, enhance and manage Delivery Partner distribution strategies to maximize market penetration, customer satisfaction and profitable business growth
Continually analyze areas of opportunities for new markets and distribution, as well as develop business plans and make recommendations on how best to capitalize on industry opportunities
Develop and administer ongoing marketing and promotion programs.
Manage product pricing as per the short and long term business strategies.
Manage the New Product Request process to ensure efficient development of new products.
Ensure constant, consistent feedback to other functions in the organization regarding customer expectations to ensure Nelson does everything possible to meet customer expectations and enhance our market differentiation
Assist in managing other Nelson functional efforts and improvement work regarding our Customer Satisfaction efforts
Key Measurements

Development and management of key sales, product launch initiatives

Formal Sales/Marketing/Engineering +Business Qualification
B2B OEM Sales and Auto Comp Mfg Industry knowledge
