Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated, proactive individual to work within our growing firm to support the HR Manager with a broad range of generalist HR tasks and internal recruitment activities. The firm is undertaking some significant projects in 2025-2026 and as such a strong emphasis on change management and employee wellness will be a component of the role.
Generalist HR activities including industrial relations support, developing contracts, on-boarding programs, induction and training & development programs and delivery, performance management and coaching along with all the other advice and support businesses typically asked of a HR generalist.
The responsibilities within this role will cover 2 broad areas:
HR generalist support within our firm
Internal Recruitment
Our ideal candidate will bring with them a strong work ethic, commitment to quality, exceptional organisational skills and a proactive, problem solving attitude. Candidates ideally would have an good awareness of the Fair Work Act and Award system. Strong people and relationship building skills and a collaborative team-work nature is a MUST.
This role will be based at our Perth office, WFH options may be available in the longer term, BUT the successful candidate must be actively involved with the Partners, Manager and broader staff group in person. THIS IS NOT a sit in your office and do compliance role.
Essential skills include:
Demonstrated HR experience across a range of businesses
Excellent awareness of the Awards system and Fair Work Act
Exposure to all facets of the ‘cycle of employment’ from organisational development, recruitment and onboarding through to training, coaching, performance development and disciplinary management including termination advice and implementation.
Internal recruitment experience - ideally sourcing candidates in professional services (Accounting Services)
Hands on approach to HR
Great organisational and time management skills
Strong communication skills including to those located in other locations/states
Work with a high level of quality and attention to detail.
Have the ability to multi-task and prioritise.
Be professional with a high work ethic, friendly and supportive nature.
