Client Services Officer | 12- Month FTC | State Government | Perth CBD
Hays is currently working with a department within the state government in Perth's CBD, who are seeking their next dedicated Client Services Officer to join their team. This is a full-time, in-office role, offering a fantastic opportunity to work in a collaborative and professional environment.
Your New Role
As a Client Services Officer, you will play an essential part in supporting the team by delivering high-quality administrative and customer service. You will ensure program compliance, accuracy of client data, and efficient processing of applications and enquiries-both in person and via the call centre.
Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Providing frontline client service, including call centre support
- Processing a variety of applications
- Maintaining and updating the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database
- Supporting project delivery and departmental events
- Assisting with administrative tasks and preparing documentation
- Responding to enquiries with clarity, empathy and professionalism
What You'll Need to Succeed
To thrive in this role, you'll bring:
- Experience in high-volume administration or customer service environments
- Confidence using CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to interpret and apply operational procedures
- A collaborative mindset and a commitment to ethical, inclusive service
Experience in government services, particularly in programs supporting seniors or community services, is desirable.
