About Our Client:
Established over a decade ago in Sydney, our client is a respected builder and developer known for high-quality luxury houses, townhouses, apartments, and medium to high-rises. They have a strong track record in Sydney's Northern Suburbs. With a long project pipeline, they are now expecting a Contract Administrator to join their dynamic and welcoming team.
About the Role
This is a full-time on-site role. You will be responsible for contract negotiation, contract management, procurement, and utilizing analytical and communication skills to ensure the successful execution of contracts on behalf of the company.
Main Duties Inlcude but not limited to below:
Coordinate the preparation of subcontractor packages, scopes of work, and procurement schedules to ensure smooth project execution.
Supervise the contract administration process from start to finish, including preparation, negotiation, execution, and ongoing monitoring, to ensure compliance with project requirements and contractual agreements.
Collaborate in the preparation of tender documents, ensuring alignment with project specifications and industry standards.
Facilitate the timely preparation and submission of progress claims, adhering to established procedures and timelines.
Manage the preparation and submission of variations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual obligations.
Management and tracking of project expenditure, inclusive of subcontractor claim
Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, sub-contractors, suppliers and consultants
Administer Requests for Information (RFIs) to clients, architects, and consultants
Other project or office related tasks as requested.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 Years contract administrator experience, preferably high-end custom house projects
Comprehensive understanding of building code, contract, and SOW
Relevant tertiary qualifications in construction, legal or QS if highly preferred
Excellent negotiation skills and attention to detail
Bilingual in English and Mandarin highly regarded
