About the Company: My client is a major player in the Infrastructure industry.
About the Role: The Contract administrator's primary function is to protect the Company's commercial interests in the contract with the customer and subcontractor by ensuring compliance with the contract administration requirements:
Main Duties for Civil Construction Contract Administrator:
- Notices and claims for variations.
- Disruptions, delays, prolongation, compression and extension of time.
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of notices and claims.
- Ensuring that risks are allocated in the subcontract between the Company and subcontractors after considering the head contract conditions and the ability of the party best able to control the risk.
Successful Civil Construction Contract Administrator must have:
- Proven experience in Cost Management, Contract administration or QS role.
- Must of Civil projects background
- Tertiary qualified: Minimum Associate Diploma (engineering preferred) or a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role.
- Business understanding (market knowledge in the area of work)
- Proven skills in dispute resolution and negotiation.
